This year Metro DC CLUW turns 50! This is an incredible milestone for our chapter and we plan to celebrate all year long. For our first major event of the year please join us for the Metro DC CLUW Women's Labor Summit!

We are excited to organize this convening of women & femme workers and union activists to uplift and reflect on the landscape of work and organized labor in the DC metro region over the last 50 years.

This summit will be a day-long event filled with the voices and experiences of women and femmes from our region who have laid the groundwork and are strengthening our movement day by day.

This year's summit will feature:

• Dynamic speakers

• Networking with changemakers in DC's labor community

• Powerful panel discussions

• Celebrations of art & culture

• Lunch & refreshments throughout the summit

This event includes ticket purchases at a sliding scale. We encourage you to select the ticket level that most closely aligns with what you are able to give. We hope you will give generously!

Metro DC CLUW members were pleased to attend the Maryland/DC Alliance for Retired Americans Convention on October 15, 2025 and witness the re-election of DC CLUW chapter board member Carol Rosenblatt as president of the Maryland/DC ARA.
